Premier Inn Birmingham South (Rubery) hotel

Very pleased with the room. We booked a family room for our family of 4. It was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. The restaurant service was excellent. We was served by Sharrisse who went above and beyond. Food was lovely and a hit with the children. Especially the pancakes and brownie. Would highly recommend staying at this venue. Its also located next to lots of lovely places, such as cinema and bowling.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was fantastic, right next to games and bowling. The customer service was like nothing I’ve ever experienced - the staff were truly exceptional. It felt like a smile never left their faces, and they were so welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay. From the friendly reception team to the attentive breakfast staff, everything was wonderful. A huge thank you to Staycee, Tommy, and Shane for making us feel so welcome, especially Staycee whose energy and enthusiasm made breakfast a highlight. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Loveliest most helpful staff you could possibly meet. Excellent room - clean & comfy with power shower. Good breakfast - buffet style, fresh & well cooked, again, staff going above & beyond to be friendly made a difference to the atmosphere. Would stay here again for that reason.

We’ve just come back from a lovely weekend in Birmingham and used Premier Inn Birmingham Rubery as our base — and honestly, it couldn’t have worked out better. The rooms were really spacious, spotless and surprisingly quiet, which is exactly what you want after full-on days exploring the city. The free parking was a huge bonus too — plenty of spaces and no stress when coming back in the evenings. But what truly made our stay was the staff. Every single person we met was warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful — nothing was too much trouble. A special thank you to Tommy, Shane and Sharisse for being so friendly and attentive… and an extra special shoutout to Becky, who went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal and memorable. You can tell she really cares. Such a thoughtful touch: there was a rubber duck hunt set up in our room for the kids, complete with a little prize at the end — which absolutely made their day. And the breakfast team were incredible too. They even gave Arthur a birthday card and a small gift as he turned six — such a simple gesture but it meant so much to us. He felt very celebrated. It’s the little details and genuine kindness that make places stand out, and this Premier Inn absolutely did that for us. We’d happily stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly base for exploring Birmingham.

Joined family for an evening meal and breakfast, I didn’t stay at the hotel because I live nearby . Excellent service for evening meal ( which happened to be Valentine’s Day) . The two members of staff were very busy, taking orders , serving and doing drinks and even though they were rushed off their feet they were so friendly . The food was excellent. Breakfast is Buffett style - very nice . Family said the beds were very comfortable

Lovely service from Staycee at breakfast, she made us feel very welcome and made us laugh. They catered well for vegetarians. The room only had one towel but the rest of the stay was lovely.

We just wanted to share how absolutely wonderful our stay at this Premier Inn has been before our trip to Cadbury World. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful, but breakfast was truly outstanding thanks to Staycee and Tommy. They were both exceptional and genuinely made our morning — easily the best service we’ve ever experienced at a Premier Inn. From the moment we arrived, Staycee greeted us with such warmth, energy and enthusiasm, and Tommy was equally welcoming and attentive. They were fantastic with the children and went above and beyond to make sure our whole family felt valued and looked after. The children were over the moon, especially when Staycee very kindly gave them two chocolate bars each before we left — such a thoughtful and memorable touch. A huge thank you to the entire team for making this stay so special. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and will absolutely stay here again if we’re in the area. We were here to take our grandson to Cadbury World. For us, it was a two night stay as we live a good 4 hour drive away. Reception was quick and easy. The staff member was very helpful, and even gave us a room that would be as quiet as possibly. We had prebooked breakfasts, and we were able to add their meal deal offer without issue. This was again thanks to the very good staff. We'd happily go back there.
